Yesterday, we launched our first vinyl storage collection. Our modular record crates are available in two sizes, 12" crates for horizontal storage of vinyl and 7" crates for vertical storage of 45s. To celebrate the launch, we're offering 15% off any order of a crate and record dividers when purchased together. (This offer ends on May 9th)
When we first started sketching ideas for our crates, our goal was to design a simple display solution that would pair well with our record dividers, and offer a storage option that would allow for some flexibility in layout and configuration for different set ups. Not everyone has a huge collection, or a ton of space to display it, so we wanted to create a modular system that would help manage small collections just as well as large, in all different types of spaces.
We partnered with our friend over at Simple Wood Goods to design and build the new collection. SWG studio practices and design sensibilities are very much in line with our own, so it made perfect sense to partner with this Ohio-based studio. We worked together sharing a few sketches and ideas before coming up with a streamlined and minimal take on our new handcrafted record crate.
Our crates are designed to be used in combination with any of our horizontal wood record dividers. The 12" record crate is designed for horizontal storage of of 10 and 12-inch records, and holds holds approximately 75-85 LPs.
Our 45s crate is designed to stack on top of our 12-inch crates, and can hold 200-280 45s stored vertically. In anticipation of our new crates, we also released a new engraved set of 3 panel A-Z dividers, just for 45s. This new set is priced at $43. We also offer two stencil styles, in 6 panel and 26 panel sets.
