This post features: Custom engraved record divider
It took a little while to finally get my hands on a copy, but I am so happy I did! (Full disclosure: my husband found it for me on a recent vinyl expedition to the East Bay) We picked up Amerigo Gazaway's latest release at Econojam Records in Oakland.
The Miseducation of Eunice Waymon, a Nina Simone and Lauryn Hill mashup is a thing of beauty. Delightful, thoughtful and really damn fun to listen to.
I was so excited by this new addition to our collection, it made me finalize a new genre within our collection: Ladies. I ordered up a custom genre divider to help keep all of my favorite female artists in one place.
We've collected quite a few of Gazaway's releases, including some of his Soulmates work- a conceptual collaboration series. Strong recommend for all of Gazaway's work if you are lucky enough to find it at your local record store.
